The divorce of Hugh (MacDonald Carey) and Miriam Halsworth (Claudette Colbert) becomes final at midnight. Things change that afternoon, though, when Miriam's old suitor Victor Macfarland checks into the hotel where Hugh is publicity man. Also stars Marilyn Monroe.
